Rathwa Ravinaben Mansing’s inspiring journey from the village of Rajwa village in Chhotaudepur to a successful career in nursing highlights her determination and the transformative impact of education. Coming from a family of 11, mainly reliant on agriculture and her elder brother’s doable income as a driver, Rathwa’s financial situation was challenging. Despite these constraints, she pursued her 12th standard education while staying in a hostel in Gandhinagar. Driven by a deep desire to care for others, Rathwa learned about VIVEC through a friend and decided to enroll in their Bedside Assistant (BSA) course, supported by her understanding family.
At VIVEC, Rathwa completed her training with enthusiasm, benefiting from both the specialized coursework and the holistic development provided by Nachiketa sessions. Her experience at VIVEC was motivating, offering her a chance to develop professionalism and essential skills that went beyond mere technical training. This comprehensive approach significantly impacted her personal and professional growth.
Upon completing her course, Rathwa secured a position at Anusha Hospital, Vadodara with monthly income of 8000 rupees and is now employed at Patel Hospital in Gotri, Vadodara, as nursing staff where she earns 9,000 rupees per month. This job not only improved her financial stability. Rathwa prudently manages her earnings, saving diligently after covering her living expenses.
Rathwa’s experience at VIVEC has transformed her life. The training equipped her with practical skills and a sense of purpose, propelling her into a fulfilling career in nursing. Looking ahead, Rathwa is excited to further her education by pursuing a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course.
